Dive Courses

Dive Courses

What is the best dive training agency to choose from. Well there is non, usually all of them are internationaly recognize and standarized. Two of the largest dive training agencies for recreonational diving mostly seen around the world is PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) or SSI (Scuba Schools International). Both of them use the most up to date multimedia teaching materials and workbooks. Confined and open water sessions are almost equal in skills you need to perform with both training agencies.

Everybody who is healthy and older then 10 years can learn diving if you can swim and you feel comfortable in the water. Even for some handicap persons it is possible to safely learn diving in a specialiesed handicap diving course.

Open Water Course: Basic beginner dive course, learn the dive theory, master the requiered skills to safely perform a dive and do a min. of 4 open water dives with your instructor. Max. depth you will be trained in the course is 18 meter

Advenced Open Water Course: Get deeper knowledge into different kinds of diving such as deep and navigation, both requiered.  There will be many other dive options to choose from like night, wreck, drift, photo... usually you need 5 of this dives to achieve the advanced open water certification.

Specialty Dive Courses: The specialty dive courses are very important to get profound knowledge about a certain kind of diving activity. There are many of them so we will focus on the most important and demanded ones. Usually you do 2 to 4 dives depending on the specialty you choose and the theory sessions. An except is Nitrox where it is enough to

  1. Enriched Air (Nitrox) Course: This is maybe the most important specialty you can choose from and it is possible to integrate it already while doing your open water course. Diving with compressed air will saturate your body tissus with Nitrogen, while ascending this excessive Nitrogen will be released into the bloodstream from your body tissus. In an unlikely case the Nitrogen gas can cause problems in your body, the so called decompression sickness. The decompression sickness is a serious condition that rare but possible can cause paralysis or death and has to be treated as fast as possible in an decompression chamber. Diving with Nitrox will reduce the amount of Nitrogen gas in your breathing container and add more Oxygen to minimize the risk of getting such.

  2. Underwater Digi-Photo Course: The widely spread of digital photo cameras with underwater housings has lead to an massive amount of divers carrying such equipment with them. This has got as far as dive students participating in the open water course trying to handle such equipment without even mastering their own diving skills. The lack of mostly divers to understand their cameras, their underwater enviroment and "honestly" how to do good underwater pictures while doing a save dive should be worth for you to participate in a proper Digi-Photo Course.

  3. Other specialty dive courses such as deep, drift, wreck... can be done, please contact us for more info and prices

First Aid & CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuraction)

One of the most important courses in life is to learn how to perform a basic first aid and cpr to an victim. More than 80% of the times somebody needs to aid another person it is a family member, close relative, friend or working colleague and not a stranger. We strongly recommend to take this course and or update every 2 years to maintain proper knowledge. To continue your diving education you need to prove that you participated on a first aid and cpr course in the last two years.
